The Department of Management Studies (DMS) was established after the approval of the University Grant Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The two-year full-time MBA program was launched in November 1997.DMS is a University Department under the Faculty of Management located in Bhimtal-a Satellite town of Nainital, situated in the Himalayan foothills. Bhimtal is gradually emerging as an educational hub with several national and state-level research centers.
